Pre- and Post-natal Yoga Teacher Training

 

Calling all yoga teachers who would like to expand and enhance their skills to accommodate their students through their pregnancy and beyond. For the Month of March 2021, Meg Soucy will be offering a 20-hour pre and postnatal training for teachers at Yoga Odyssey in Somerville. 

There will also be a Livestream option for those who wish to join on zoom!

    Saturdays & Mondays, March 5 to 28

    Times

    Saturdays: 11:30 am to 2 pm

    Mondays: 5:30 to 8 pm

    Cost

    $425 (Includes credit for 20 Continuing Education Hours through Yoga Alliance.)

    You’ll also learn to adapt the following yoga practices to meet the needs of your prenatal yoga students:

    Centering and Warm-Ups

    Seated and Standing Postures

    Savasana

    Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)

    Meditation

    Mudras (Hand Gestures)

  • Meg Soucy is a 700-hour RYT Yoga Teacher. Meg completed her first 500 hours of training in Vinyasa Yoga at Jaipure Yoga under the care and love of Marcie Wallace and Loryn Riggiola. In 2021, she completed a 700-hour certification with Lara Heiman and is now a certified LYT method yoga teacher.

    Meg has specialties in Yin, Aerial and Prenatal Yoga. She teaches an alignment-focused, vinyasa-style class. She incorporates the yogic teachings into every class. She brings fresh sequencing, an attention to detail and a strong knowledge of anatomy, allowing her to sustainably and intentionally guide her students through a challenging yet accessible flow. Meg is always bringing something new to the mat. Her goal as a teacher is to continue to evolve with her students in skill, observation and creativity.
